About us
HemoEdge helps laboratory professionals develop confidence in blood film morphology through structured learning, WSI-based cases, guided interpretation, quizzes, competency pathways and AI-supported explanations.
For individual users, it provides a clearer way to practise, revise and track progress. For institutions, it supports more consistent training, better visibility of learner development and a scalable approach to morphology education across cohorts or laboratory teams.
Whether you are an individual learner looking to improve your morphology skills or an organisation seeking a more structured training solution, HemoEdge is being built to support practical, measurable competency development.
Our mission
What we believe
HemoEdge is being developed around a structured, image-rich learning library designed to support practical learning, repeated exposure, and competency development. Learners will be able to study annotated cell images, explore illustrated morphology features, work through guided teaching modules and practise interpretation using WSI-based cases. Each asset is intended to support a clear learning purpose, from feature recognition to case-based reasoning and competency development.

How we build
HemoEdge is designed to support both individual learning and team-based training. Learners can build confidence through structured practice, while educators and laboratory leads can assign modules, monitor progress, identify weak areas and support competency development across cohorts or departments.
The platform combines expert-reviewed educational content with AI-supported learning. Morphology explanations, case notes, annotations and quiz feedback are designed to be grounded in approved teaching material, while the AI Tutor helps learners clarify difficult features, understand case findings and revise weak areas.
HemoEdge uses WSI-based cases to give learners a more realistic experience than static image collections alone. Users can explore digital blood films, review points of interest, compare features across the slide and connect morphology findings with clinical and laboratory context.
Learning is organised into clear pathways, modules and checkpoints so progress can be measured over time. This helps individual learners understand where they are improving, while giving educators and training leads better visibility of readiness, weak areas and competency development.
